Phone Booth Contacts! :)
Last week was my first full week with Elder Farias and together we worked really well. Both of us push each other to try new things and do things that seem a little scary. For example, I’m completely used to standing up on and bus walking to the front and introducing myself to everyone-that it just seems like something normal now. :) Something else fun we have started to do is collecting the phone numbers of phone booths in our area and at random times during the day we call and talk to people about the gospel and ask if we can visit them another day. Just yesterday I called a phone booth in front of the church. When a man answered I introduced myself as a missionary of the church in front of him, he asked, “who do you want to talk to.” I responded, “You. I’m calling because I want to help you be baptized at the church right in front of you.” He told me that he was a little busy, so I asked him if we could visit him another day, unfortunately he said that he didn’t live in the city and so I let him go. It was fun. I’m really having fun-just talking to everyone is so much more enjoyable.
